Finwin Edu Campus Partners with Prithipura Community
Finwin Edu Campus is proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Prithipura Community, a well-respected institution dedicated to the care and welfare of individuals with special needs. The MoU was formally signed on 27 July 2026 by Ms. Pushpa Ramanayake, Director of Prithipura Community, and Mr. Rishard Fallil, Director of Compliance & AQ at Finwin Edu Campus.
This partnership marks an important milestone for our Caregiver and Nursing Assistant programmes, giving students the chance to complete a structured 192-hour internship within a genuine care environment.
Why This Partnership Matters
Classroom learning gives students the knowledge they need, but nothing prepares a future caregiver or nursing assistant quite like real, hands-on practice. Working with individuals with special needs calls for patience, empathy and a particular set of practical skills that can only be built through direct experience. This MoU ensures our students are not just taught the theory, but are given a genuine opportunity to put it into practice under proper guidance.
Through this collaboration, Finwin Edu Campus students will spend 192 hours at Prithipura Community, working alongside experienced staff and being directly involved in the care and support of individuals with special needs. This immersive experience is designed to build confidence, sharpen practical skills and deepen students' understanding of person-centred care.
What Students Will Gain
This internship offers far more than a line on a certificate. Students can expect to:
- Develop practical caregiving skills, including personal care, mobility support and daily living assistance, under the supervision of trained professionals.
